經文: 路得記1:16-17 (當代譯本) Ruth 1:16-17
16 路得說：「不要逼我撇你而去。你往哪裡去，我也要往哪裡去；你住在哪裡，我也要住在哪裡；你的同胞就是我的同胞，你的上帝就是我的上帝；17 你死在哪裡，我也死在哪裡、葬在哪裡。只有死才能把我們分開。否則，願耶和華重重地懲罰我！」
16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
